Malama Pono Health Services cares for Kauai’s women by offering high-quality, compassionate, 100% confidential Women’s Wellness Services through insurance or on a sliding fee scale, including:
- Annual well-woman exams (Pap smears or cervical cancer screening)
- Family planning
- Birth control (birth control pills, condoms, IUD, etc.)
- Pregnancy testing
- Breast cancer screening
- Urinary tract infection (UTI)
- Yeast infection and vaginitis
- Reproductive options and referrals

Nicole Ludington-Braun is a Medical Case Manager at Malama Pono Health Services. With over five years of diverse medical experience, Nicole’s expertise ranges from patient registration to working in the behavioral health unit. What sets her apart is her exceptional ability to connect with clients, ensuring her patients receive the support they need. Beyond work, Nicole enjoys outdoor activities, caring for animals, and exploring new destinations through travel. Coming from a closely-knit family deeply ingrained in the community, she values family above all. Malama Pono is proud to have Nicole as part of our team, embodying our commitment to providing exceptional care and support to the community through her expertise, compassion, and dedication. Nicole is from Kauai and is a graduate of Kauai High School and U.H. West Oahu.
School & Sports Physicals
If your child needs a school or sports physical – we can help! Malama Pono’s team of skilled healthcare professionals are trained to give comprehensive examinations. The Hawaii Department of Education requires students to have a completed Student Record to enter school, and we can complete this document for you. Some schools also require a sports physical to certify your child’s fitness for participation on a sport or club team.
