Aloha Friends!

We hope this message finds you well. We have important news to share regarding the leadership of Malama Pono Health Services.

After more than a decade of dedicated service, Mistee Bailey-Myrick, our valued President and CEO, has stepped down from her role at Malama Pono to relocate to Alaska and embark upon a new chapter in her family’s journey. During her tenure, Mistee played a pivotal role in expanding our services, enhancing patient care, and fostering our organization into the community-centric health provider it is today.  We are incredibly grateful for Mistee’s leadership and wish her well in her future endeavors.

Our commitment to our mission remains steadfast, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. To that end, our board and staff are working diligently to seek new leadership for our organization and ensure a seamless transition. The board is currently recruiting a new President and CEO, and you may view the job description on Indeed.com.

In the coming months, we will provide updates on Malama Pono’s transition process. If you have any immediate questions, please email the board at board@mphskauai.org. Meanwhile, be assured that all clinic, support, and education services are continuing as normal thanks to our committed staff.

Mahalo for your ongoing support of Malama Pono Health Services. Your commitment to the important work we do means the world to our board, our staff, and the community we serve!

With Aloha,

Malama Pono Health Services Board Signatures
